Now that you have all your equipment, get a second person to help you. First, pour three and a fifth quarts (or more) of water into a five-gallon plastic bucket. Next, move the mixing paddle in the bucket and ask your helper slowly to pour in the resurfacer. Mix for at least 5 minutes more after everything has been added. Once the mix is smooth and creamy, stop. Mixture should not be too thick. Add more water to thin it. Your helper can insert weatherstripping at the driveway's expansion joints to stop the resurfacer filling.
