2.2.6 Navigating your account and notifications

Clicking on the Polar Cloud member icon at the top far right of any Polar Cloud screen will display a drop-down menu listing “Settings”, your email address used to login to your Polar Cloud account, and a “Sign Out” tab; see Figure 2.22.

Clicking “Settings” will take you to your “ACCOUNT” screen, at which you may update your name, position, photo, etc. Note that this information is part of what will be visible to other Polar Cloud members who click on your personal Polar Cloud member icon if you post public objects, etc.; see Section 4.1.

Clicking on your email address will take you to your personal account dashboard, where you may view your recent Polar Cloud activity (“ACTIVITY” screen), your full history of objects printed in the Polar Cloud (“HISTORY” screen), a list of objects you currently have queued to print (“QUEUED” screen), and a list of other members’ objects that you have liked (“LIKED screen).

When there is new activity for your account (new activity entries that could be seen on the “ACTIVITY” screen, should you view it), the count of new activity entries will appear, circled in red, superimposed over the upper right of your account member icon at the upper right of Polar Cloud screens.

Clicking on the bell icon (towards the upper right of Polar Cloud screens) will bring up a NOTIFICATIONS” screen listing any Polar Cloud notifications awaiting your attention; see Chapter 11. When notifications are awaiting your attention, the bell icon will turn solid red and vibrate.
