Our Hero - Jack Shephard

A handsome doctor named Jack emerges from the wreckage.  He's a natural born leader who rallies the survivors of Oceanic flight 815 with the mantra, "live together or die alone."  They eat it up because they don't want to "die alone."  Also did we mention he's a handsome doctor?

BS to Impress: Jack was supposed to die in the pilot but ABC thought killing him would upset fans.  So they killed off 815's pilot, Seth Norris, instead.  That worked out since the guy who played Norris, Greg Grunberg went on to star on an amazing show called Heroes as a telepathic cop.
