Whether or not you enjoyed Dexter's fifth season, most could agree that the series felt somewhat off and particularly in the wake of Rita's death, the Bay Harbor Butcher just wasn't on his game anymore.
But no longer, as Showtime releases the latest teaser for season six, where Dexter Morgan promises us he's getting back into bloody form. Giving his best eye-f$%k to the camera, Michael C. Hall plainly announces as his eyes fill with blood:
"You know me. We've been through a lot together. I've always found it easiest to be honest with you, so I wanted to be the first to tell you. I'm feeling like my old self again. Renewed, recharged, refocused. With nothing to stop me from being...me."

Guest stars appearing this season include Deadwood's Molly Parker, Heroes' Brea Grant, Lights Out's Billy Brown, Edward James Olmos, hip-hop artist and actor Mos Def, as well as Hollywood royalty Colin Hanks, all said to be taking "major, multi-arc" roles.
Other known details for season six include the presence of Angel Batista's sister as Harrison's new nanny Jamie (Aimee Garcia),the news that Dexter's relationship with sister Deb (Jennifer Carpenter) will take center stage this season, and the announcement of three as-yet-uncast recurring roles for the season.
Dexter is currently shooting in Los Angeles May 25th for a Fall premiere, as the teaser plainly illustrates, with the sixth season's first episode, titled "Those Kinds of Things!"
