Now that Michael C. Hall and our favorite serial killer have gone back to work, it's about time we see Dexter...actually...going back to work!
Showtime has released several new photos from the sixth season premiere "Those Kinds of Things" that show Dexter Morgan in his element, investigating cases and chasing down the real bad guys before the cops get a chance.
The images also give us our first look at hip-hop artist and actor Mos Def in his role as "a hardened ex-con who claims to have found religion yet seems to continually find himself surrounded by violence" The first image sees Dexter investigating "the first mysterious kill linked to Professor Gellar (Edward James Olmos) that’s going to cross Dexter’s path and let him know that he’s up against a killer, the likes of which he hasn’t seen before."
Other guest stars appearing this season include Deadwood's Molly Parker, Heroes' Brea Grant, Lights Out's Billy Brown, as well as Hollywood royalty Colin Hanks, all said to be taking "major, multi-arc" roles.
Known details for season six include the presence of Angel Batista's sister as Harrison's new nanny Jamie (Aimee Garcia),the news that Dexter's relationship with sister Deb (Jennifer Carpenter) will take center stage this season, and the announcement of three as-yet-uncast recurring roles for the season.
