It's no secret that beautiful women often barely stand a chance of surviving a horror movie. The Death of Beauty has always been a running theme in the genre, and that death often comes fast, furious and bloody. And the audience is usually very pleased.
Here we'll take a look at some of the most gorgeous women in the world of horror that just didn't stand a chance of making it to the closing credits, from the doomed women of the Wrong Turn trilogy to the ladies who should've stayed home in Turistas and The Hills Have Eyes to the demonic heartbreakers of Jennifer's Body and Carrie. Let us remember them fondly and hope their demises continue to inspire horror filmmakers to dispatch with their heroines in even more gruesomely imaginative ways... it's an art form, after all.

She finally meets her demise at the hands of her BFF, Needy Lesnicki, who releases Jennifer unto the void via a deadly blade. Unfortunately, the succubus demon in question escaped Jennifer's body... and now lurks inside Needy. The legacy continues, but now as a blonde.

We hate to admit it, but Elena kind of had it coming. A reality TV star not beyond giving a hummer to the first AD if it means it will increase her screen time, Elena was literally killed for being beautiful. A cannibalistic mountain man was pleasuring himself at the sight of Elena's sunbathing body, which didn't sit too well with the freak's sister/lover. You know how it goes with women scorned - soon, the sister is hacking up her would-be competition with a rusty blade. That's what you get for being non-deformed, Elena!

There's sometimes oh so little time to look cute and make an impression before some giant thug that calls himself Saw Tooth sends you to the great woodlands in the sky.
