Ahh, the Bond Girl - that classic blend of sexiness, sophistication and a willingness to be associated with a name that could easily be doubled as a porn star's for the rest of your career as an actress (seriously, does anyone really know what Pussy Galore's real name is?).

Regardless of your personal tastes in the fairer sex - blonde, brunette or redhead, good or evil -there's a Bond Girl for you. In celebration of the 22nd James Bond adventure, Quantum of Solace, we look back on 22 years of Bond Girls, from the two lovely ladies of Quantum (Strawberry Fields and Camille Montes) all the way back to the two tasty temptresses of 1989's License to Kill (Pam Bouvier and Lupe Lamora).

Bond Girls. They'll shake you and stir you.

Strawberry Fields

Agent Strawberry Fields makes quite an impression in 2008's Quantum of Solace, despite her limited screen time and the fact that she ultimately doesn't really do anything except pick Bond up at the airport, have sex with him in a hotel, go to a party with him, make a villain trip down some stairs and then gets killed by being covered and drowned in oil. A green and naive MI6 office girl rather than an experienced field agent, Fields unfortunately meets her untimely doom by getting involved with Bond and his mission of revenge. Still, she's definitely one of the most gorgeous Bond Girls ever, and one that jumps into bed with 007 literally within minutes of meeting him. These young ones don't waste any time.

Camille Montes

In Quantum of Solace, Camille Montes is a half-South American, half-Ukrainian knockout with her own agenda against a ruthless businessman named Dominic Greene, who plans to overthrow the current government of Bolivia to gain full control of that country's water supply (among other horrible intentions). While in typical Bond fashion, 007 and Camille don't see eye-to-eye at first, but the two eventually come to rely on each other... which rather surprisingly doesn't lead to some after-hours work as well. That's right, folks - Bond didn't bed this one. Definitely one of the darker Bond Girls, Camille's rage and drive matches Bond's in the rather lean and mean Quantum.

Giacinta 'Jinx' Johnson

An NSA spy in 2002's Die Another Day, Jinx got her name after she was born on Friday the 13th. Despite the unlucky moniker, Jinx seems to dive head-first into danger - luckily for viewers, wearing an orange two-piece that would do Honey Ryder proud - joining forces with 007 in Havana, Cuba to track down Zao, a North Korean terrorist. Considered to be one of the toughest of the beautiful Bond Girls, Jinx is lethal in either hand-to-hand combat or with any weapon - as Miranda Frost soon finds out via a dagger-impaled copy of The Art of War, shouting, "Read this, bitch!" Ha, that's right - why read when you can die?
