Single Cylinder Press Brake Back

Metal Cutting

Hydraulic press brakes are ideal for heavy-duty work and can be customized to tackle the most diverse combinations of customer forming requirements—from high tonnage to long length, tandem, and everything in between.

Standard Industrial offers a range of CNC gauging, including a simple, single-line display, user-friendly controls and state-of-the-art 2D and 3-D modeling. The press brake does not come standard with any backgauge or CNC control. You can find a complete range of systems in our separate CNC Controls and Gauging catalog.

These work support arms are heavy-duty and quick-releasing. They have smooth transition rollers, precision machined ways and are very durable. Multiple horizontal and vertical adjustments allow for precise control. This system allows the operator to move the arms quickly left/right/up/down, allowing for quick set-up. You can choose between a 24-inch and 36-inch length for the quick-change linear support system arms.

Most press brakes work in the middle of the press. Standard Industrial press brakes can be used to apply substantial force at the ends of the brake when they are not designed for center loading.

Angle

We also have a range of Press Brakes designed on the hydraulic control system. Its bending capacity is capable of handling thick work-pieces. As a result of its tonnage capacity, it works efficiently on any thick metal material. This range is built in either Single Cylinder or Dual Cylinder Y1+Y2 formats and requires no complex operation to function. Materials that can be processed on our Press Brakes include steel, brass, metal sheets, and aluminum alloys.

With our high-end precision presses brakes, the possibilities are endless. They feature better controls and more axes. Stable and reliable AC servo motor driven back gauge system, and outboard mounted long-ram guides (which allow full length between the frames for acute angle bend) are some of its features.

Our press brake machine offers important advantages over other models because it is backed up by Standard Industrial's reputation in durability and repeatability.

Our high-end precision press brakes have many possibilities. They offer more controls, faster setups and production, as well as large daylight openings and larger working areas. Other features include a fast AC-servo motor-driven backgau system that is stable and reliable, as well as outboard mounted long RAM guides (which are long enough to reach all the frames and allow for precise angle bending)

For specific applications like multiple die sets used in one stroke or a brake with a greater force that forms a broad range of material, a crowning device may be suitable.

You will need to start with the new Piranha Press brake. There is limited data in your Delem DA6060 controller's material library. You can add any material to this database easily. A material cert from your source, listing the material's strength, is all you need.

It is a unique technology that allows press brake operators of all skill levels to produce high quality, efficient results.

An automatic lubrication machine is an air-operated and timed system that adds grease to all lubrication points, except backgauge screws. This feature is ideal for multiple shift operations. All press brakes have a standard manifold-central lubrication mechanism.

A manifold lube system, which combines all lubrication points into one area, equips press brakes. This saves time and helps increase machine life expectancy.

Press brakes are used in sheet metal work and production plants in many fields, such as the automotive and aeronautic sectors.

Frequently Asked Questions

Hydraulic brake failures are most common due to either loss of hydraulic pressure, or brake fade on steep hills.

Nearly all modern car crushers use hydraulic presses to crush cars. A pump pushes hydraulic fluid through large cylinders to power a large motor. Using principles of force-multiplication, a hydraulic system can generate over 2,000 psi and impart more than 150 tons of crushing force onto a pile of scrap cars.

The press brake works by using a punch or die to bend or cut metal in a variety shapes and forms.

The principle of Pascal's Law governs hydraulic presses. It states that pressure applied to a fluid within a fluid causes pressure changes throughout the fluid. The hydraulic press has a piston, which acts as a pump and provides a slight mechanical force to a small portion of the sample.

You shouldn't use the clutch to turn corners. The transmission mechanism is freed by pressing the clutch, which can affect the vehicle's stability. If your vehicle is in an imbalanced position while you turn, it can lose traction. Depending on the speed, the vehicle may tip over.
