We offer both dry and wet metal machine options depending on the type of material that needs to be processed. Dry machines are recommended for grinding because they have lower levels of grit, and coarser grit in environments that don't require high temperatures.

These three types of work are called steps and can be performed by centrifugal barrel finishing machines. All steps may not be required depending on the product's surface finish specifications. The process may include one, two, or three steps.

Tumbler medium is the abrasive in mass finishing. It removes the burrs, cutting lines and scratches from metal surfaces. Tumbler media is available in many forms.

Safety is also improved by using a deburring machine. It reduces repetitive motion injuries such as carpal tunnel syndrome that can be caused by polishing and deburring by hand. Handwork is much more comfortable with a centrifugal barrel machine than it is with handwork. Although centrifugal tumblers require that operators manually load each barrel, the machine's high speed makes up for the labor intensity.
