The FANUC robotic arm has six axes and can bevel 360 degrees, making short work of any shape or profile needed for coping beams, plates, and even pipes—hydraulic clamps prevent round materials from rotating during processing. This versatility is paired with the superior power of Hypertherm X-Definition plasma.

The Voortman beam-coping machine is very easy to maintain and has very few moving parts. Voortman is a machine that can be used worldwide. It uses components from only major manufacturers. Most of these parts can be found in local markets. Voortman has all the parts in stock for next-day delivery to the USA. We offer support and service in most of our overseas locations.

If you have any questions about the quality of our Robotic-coping and profiling machines, we can tell you that they have passed the most important fabrication tests, including hardness and surface texture, beam access hole quality, bolt hole size, positioning, and perpendicularity. As usual, the Voortman CNC profiling and coping machine has been made available through our stocking. This machine is built to an extraordinary standard, hence its exceptional capacities.

The WTD is back with extended dates, now giving visitors five days to visit our members’ extensive showrooms and see the latest new technology, including some North American premieres. No other show or single event offers you such a wide display of woodworking equipment, combined with impressive live demonstrations at each location.

In just a matter of days, your operator can learn how to use PCR42 plasma cutters. The interface of the PCR42 plasma cutter is very easy to use. Mac-Tech will be there to assist you if needed.

Voortman offers regular training courses on all Voortman and Ocean equipment at their facility in Bradley Illinois. These courses are suitable for new operators and for refreshing existing operators. Employees that pass through this facility return to your shop highly trained, motivated and eager to improve your productivity. Please call for details and pricing.

Why is an I-beam better than a solid beam

Bend-Tech Dragon A400 CNC tube cutter, engraving and marking machine is commercial grade. Dragon A400 is a combination of the most powerful CAD/CAM software in the world, and will do the job with precision and speed.

We can assure you that the Robotic coping/profiler machine has passed all critical fabrication tests: hardness, surface texture and beam flange access hole quality. It also successfully scaled bolt hole sizing and positioning. We have made available, through our stocking, the Voortman CNC Coping and Profiling machine. It is made to an exceptional standard for you, hence its extraordinary capacities.

The PCR41, an innovative design, combines robotics vision systems with plasma torch technology to provide the best combination speed, value, precision, and 4-face operation when cutting structural steel.

This profile-cutting machine can easily cut almost any drawing you can think of. This machine can not only cope but it can also cut to length!

Speed

Voortman CNC Beam Coping Machine uses Oxy-fuel. Therefore, the thickness of materials is not important. Material up to 6" can be handled.

Another problem is that the flame can blow back when cutting thicker parts, even with light-wide-flange beams. This can cause damage to the plasma head.

APC 1200 can be upgraded to the full extent of the base unit. It can do both oxy-fuel and combination plasma cutting, with both torches mounted upon a pivoting base. They can flip between the two via computer control in a matter of seconds. The Plasma is the main tool used by the machine to maximize its efficiency. It can automatically switch to Oxy Fuel when the thickness of the material exceeds the Plasma's cutting capacity. This upgraded unit also includes the laser probing feature for height adjustment.

It is much easier to import files directly from your steel detailing tool. In this regard there are two distinct camps.

Frequently Asked Questions

A 10-foot I-beam of steel will cost $60-$180, while a 40 foot beam will cost between $240-$720.

H-Beams. H-beams are one of the strongest steel beams. It is composed of horizontal elements and the web by vertical beams. Popular in civil engineering and construction, the web and flanges create a cross section that is similar to the shape of the letter H.

Coping, Latin for "coping", is the covering or capping of a wall. A wedge or splayed coping slopes in one direction. A saddle coping slopes to the opposite side of a central highpoint.

The H beam's cross section is more robust than that of the I beam. This means it can support a heavier load. The cross section of the H beam, on the other hand, can only bear direct load and tensile. However, it cannot resist twisting due to its narrow cross section. It can only bear force in one direction.

Weiten identified four types of coping strategies. They are: problem-focused (adaptive cognitive), appraisal-focused (adaptive behavioral), emotion focused (emotion-focused) and occupation-focused. Billings and Moos also added avoidance coping to the list of emotion-focused coping.
