Our Carolina Skiffs (21-foot) and 23-foot Carolina Skiffs (23-foot) are comfortable, stable and safe for dolphin and island tours. These boats feature a central console design to maximize space and allow easy movement around the boat. A fully cushioned forward deck allows for observation (and lounging), and comfortable seats for the whole group. Large bimini tops provide shade and ice chest space.

Over many years of observing the dolphins’ natural behaviors, our guides are experts at locating bottlenose dolphins and safely instructing our guests on how to enter the water and observe them in their natural habitat. Plus, your captain will snorkel alongside you to show you starfish, pufferfish, welch conchs, sand dollars, and various other types of sea creatures.

Can you still swim with dolphins at Discovery Cove —

All snorkeling gear is provided onboard at no additional charge. Capri Suns, bottled water and complimentary refreshments will be available in the cooler. You are encouraged to bring your own beverages, snacks, and BYOB.

We had an amazing time! Christian, our captain of the boat, was fantastic. Our group ranged in age from 2 years to 81, and everyone had a blast. We went to Shell Island, met dolphins, touched jellyfish cannonballs, and enjoyed the boat trip. Christo was polite, knowledgeable, and friendly. Christo was a great captain. Lagoon Pontoons booked staff were very helpful and friendly. They answered all questions and provided suggestions for seniors and toddlers. 5 stars!! !

We had a wonderful trip. The captain was amazing. He even showed us a jellyfish that doesn't sting. The shell island had many shells so we stopped there. Everyone had a great time. We will definitely be back.

Our Dolphin & Island Tours are normally scheduled for 3 hours. Departure times vary seasonally. We are currently leaving the dock at 9:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Wear nothing but a swimsuit. Dolphins have extremely sensitive skin, and because you will be able to touch them during your interaction, we recommend that you refrain from wearing sunscreen, oils, or perfumes.
