Your captain will direct you on how to enter the water so that you can see the dolphins at close quarters. It is prohibited to approach or swim towards the dolphins. We interact with dolphins in the most ethical manner possible by swimming parallel to their bodies and inviting them to come towards us.
Your captain will provide many options to help you make the most of your dolphin tour. One option is to snorkel on the grass flats or jetties of Shell Island. Perhaps you'd like to take a walk along the beach, where you can see starfish and crabs, fish, and birds of all sorts during this amazing eco-tour!
Your excursion will take in Panama City Pass and the area that St. Andrews Bay (and the Gulf of Mexico) meet. This is where dolphins are found. You will learn how to get in the sea and see them up-close.
Book a private tour with your group. Private charters allow you to extend your private dolphin tour by adding additional time (starting at 2 to 3 hours). This allows you to add more snorkeling locations, island time, and so on. Six passengers can be accommodated on a boat.
