At The Dolphy Races

As the time comes closer,
Betting continues,
And everyone tries their hand,
Could you find the winner,
Or risk it on the lesser?
Is it worth it in the ends?
Number eight, or number two,
Which will get beat,
And which will race ahead?

Then the day comes,
And you can buy your own,
And desperately waiting till it's grown,
Finally, three weeks later,
Your baby's fully ready,
So it's your turn to try,
Praying she won't loose,
Hoping she does well,
Your friends cheer her on,
But she falls behind,
As you cry out- begging her 'please'
Crossing the finish line,
She comes in last,
But has she really failed you?

The next day, you try again,
Going with a friend,
Trying their luck too,
Both dolphies get picked,
So he says,
'I'll vote yours, you vote me?'
Happily trusting each other,
The countdown begins,
And the race starts.

Looking forward you watch in hope,
One passes the other,
You've forgotten which is which,
One passes the other,
Passes the next,
But after it all,
Both get passed,
Both fall behind, both loose,
From then on you babies,
They just keep losing,
Until one day,
When you scored high, made her happy,
She gets that first win.

This is the will and way,
Of the dolphy,
and each time you win,
Remember your looses,
Because that's when you learn,
And how you pass the test,
So keep her strong,
And visit each day,
Bring her to race,
In their virtual world,
Known as PlaySation Home.

A place called home is where I roam
For laughs and fun with virtual everyone
I came across a tender heart
We fused as friends right from the start
We talked and shared our deepest cares
As we sat on benches in the Plaza square
The time we had and memories made
The jokes we told and the games we played
Then one dark day she came no more
I searched from dolphins racing to memories shore
My friend had vanished with out a good-bye
Leaving only the how’s and why’s
So now I sit with my heart broken
Waiting on healing words to be spoken
Dealing with the pain that this all brings

OUR HOME WITH US
By BLACK-DOOM

Live our world pixelated by imagination

Desire by Design

A haven untouched by cold waking life

Mists of gold-dusted raindrops and laughter

in shadows of illusion

Limitless freedom and limitless loving

Created by Delusion to become Reality

Absence of time while wild and carefree

we hide from reality

Rapturous delights of the life in the recess of our mind

the Labyrinth of our Dreams

To it's extraordinary inhabitants

they grow to care or spawn to abuse

Endless days of wanting and wishing

we aren’t what we seem…

When In Home
By Olivia_Allin

A push of a button
And I’m on my way
Some call me glutton
But who is to say

The screen is a glowing
The hard drive it spins
With anticipation
Of seeing my friends

I go to my wardrobe
I choose with great care
What outfit I’m wearing
What shoes and what hair

I pull up my friends list
To see who might be
Already logged on
And waiting for me

Race dolphins, go bowling
Oh what will I do?
Go shopping or dancing
Yeah that is fun too

Or race in an airplane
Play chess on my yacht
So much to take in here that
In real life I can not

But all of these great things
Of which we all share
One thing rises above
As for the most that I care

Though many a prefix
Like “virtual” or “online”
Whatever you call them
My friends are still mine!

Developers may make this place
Oh so breath taking
But the real magic is
In the friends I am making

It would have been plenty
To just roam this place
But the bonus for me
Is recognizing an avatar face

Some people may come here
To vent pent up rage
Or constantly ask questions
Like How? Where? And age?

Some people are lonely
And hoping to meet
Some like minded person
Same tempo heartbeat

But what ever your reasons
And the list is quite vast
Home is a freedom
What more can you ask

I know it’s not perfect
And sometimes it looms
I wish for long gone thing s
Like old friends and EA’s poker rooms

Yet still I come back
I dare not miss a day
Because time moves quite fast here
And to each in its own way

So choose your own reason
Your choice will be right
Create, interact
But try not to fight

Leave the stresses of real life
This isn’t just a game
But a world to take pride in
Whilst under your screen name.

And if I seem silly
Or somewhat naive
You may be correct
But all this I believe

Am I so crazy
For loving this place
That more times than not
Brings a smile to my face

I’ve rambled so long now
But I just don’t care
There is no place like Home
And I hope to see you there

Hello guys! I figured I'd help support this by creating a poem of my own. I know it's not the best but please, enjoy:

Are you awake, or are you away, my digital pixles will not ever fade. Knock, knock, knock, I have something to say, but why won't you answer me this day? Dancing and screaming, I am thinking of leaving, perhaps I should ska-dance away?

I have waited eight hours, feeling unseen, so I looked back at the screen, "You must be a coward!" this noobie had screamed. Well, I edited this for PG-13 - you'd never believe what I had seen. Now should I reply back with something clever, so keen?

Coin-toss with emotes, allow me to quote; "Off with your head!" I had randomly said. As fast has he came, this noobie had fled. At last I could move on ahead.

Alice was here
by trinity ^_^

I traveled to this place, in search of wonder.
I found amongst my treasures hold
gleaming glances, brilliant worlds, and many
fantasies to unfold.

The White Rabbit led me here,
to take up residence in my beach house or my lair.
throwing my belongs here and there-
That spot is good, no there!

Exploring with my companions close,
purchasing items to further indulge.
The hues of colors dance around my
painted face as the loco's reverse.

People running past in a blur-
they too are searching and relocating.
Time does not sleep here, In such a place of inspiration
One does feel its endless creations.
Alice was here.

A time line of Love in Home

(day one)

In all my years I lived in this land,
I’ve led an unusual life
I’ve run into many a beast and witch
Not the least of which was my ex-wife
So I logged into Home
I was all alone
Desperately in search for a prize
when then a young maiden, had come along
that made my spirits rise.

(Day 7)

Now my time is laden with this young maiden,
we get along so gran
When I log into to Home,
I’m her biggest fan
I buy all her clothes,
she adores my avatars tan.
I hope and prey my virtual love
don’t turn out to be a man

(week 3)

My hair is long,
Her hair is short,
We both fell in love
playing poker at Ea Sport
The days turned into weeks
as we began to Cort

In this make believe world
I have meet all type of sorts
Everyone has an opinion,
from all the way long too short
But we were made for each other
you all may save your retort.
We plan to announce our love
at the I.R.E.M beach resort.

(Week 4)

Some say I’m her minion
A clown at her festival
All my friends they are skeptical
As they all say she has testicles
But, I’ve made up my mind
and left all of them behind
Their jealousy I did not find to be kind.

Although they’re rather envious,
I can brim with pride...
I’m the lucky son-of-a-bitch
who found a virtual bride

Playstation Home Stream of Thought by: belldandy

Glowing, appearing, motion, disappearing.
Cleaver warp and times distorts.
Many friends on the mend,
while others dance to flutter romance.
Hues of color fly-
beam and reflect in my eyes.
What a love for this three another world
to hold and to keep.
All flocks of souls entering-
interacting and venturing.
Oh, what a love I have for this place-
an eternity of open space.
playing on while my heart anticipates,
merging ideas and collaborating at its best.
Grab a controller and let Home do the rest.
