The Return to Fashion

by Jin Lovelace, HSM team writer & filmmaker

The Home fashion scene has always been a vibrant one, even if its more prominent community voices don’t always see eye-to-eye. Certainly the level of visitor traffic that this site (and my own) measurably enjoy from Home fashion discussion are clear indicators that the meta-game of virtual fashion is something well-enjoyed by many.

Personally, I enjoy creating fashion machinima pieces. Aside from a taxing, slow summer and being too busy with other projects (see the next Material World), I felt I’ve neglected my audience and a few of my friends in the process, since there just hasn’t been much time to keep up with regular video content output. Compounding this, you can’t help but wonder where Home will ultimately end up, which creates a lot of question marks for anyone in the user community who endeavors out of love to keep pushing forward.

I begin to ponder: where does Twilight Touch fall into all of this?

While there are a lot — and I mean a lot — of plans that are happening behind the scene, I can honestly say with a smile on my face (along with this bowl of grits that I’m enjoying — if you don’t know the delicacy, look it up, because it’s too delicious to describe at the moment) that I haven’t gone anywhere.

This video piece — Would You Wear It? — highlights some styles that were created by the talented Miss Scarlet. The outfit combinations you see from her are quite remarkable, and they deserve some visibility. I’ve also some work from Roxanne and I in the mix, just for the heck of it. You can check out my thoughts over at my website on this feature. For now, we hope you enjoy this new piece.
