Spun Fun
by Kassadee Marie, HSM team writer
Some of us are a bit fond of the whimsical and even the slightly off-kilter. And others of us revel in it. We might just go ahead and wear that orange and white top and orange kicks with those purple jeans, accented with a few pieces of chunky and somewhat animal-shaped jewelry. Why not? Bright and happy colors make us feel good. We see nothing wrong with a personal space filled with orange couches, purple chairs, striped tunnels, bouncing trees, polka-dot walkways, and a bush-eating moving toilet. We love riding around on a tall one-eyed jayraf without a care in the world. And we love to dance by making letter shapes. It’s all great fun.
Home is host to a third-party developer that seems to be filled with people who think in unusual ways and see the world at a slightly different angle than a lot of us. You’ve probably been to Spunland and had the pleasure of seeing their take on a public space. The weather cycle there, the games, shop, and the rewards are some things that shouldn’t be missed! That developer, madmunki, has just brought out their first mixed item bundle and it’s spuntastic. It’s called the Spunland Mega Bundle I, and it has a combination of furniture items, including a working lamp; a dance and letter pose pack; a wall item that is a picture puzzle game; some clothing including the Sonic Spunner Full Body Suit; and five – count them – five different and fun locomotions, including the giant jayraf.
By the way, madmunki is one of the most responsive developers on Home today. They make fixes when necessary (such as the fix that should go through next Wednesday for the new puzzle game); they are active on the Sony Home forum and other sites, such as their own Spunland blog; they provide updates and new rewards in their public space fairly often; they hold contests, such as when they crown Spunland kings and queens; and they offer new content on a regular basis. I love Spuno’ween and Spunmas in their public space and now Spuno’ween will be offered up to five days a week on the 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st (if there is one) of each month.
As a Spunland fan and owner of the Spunland Cottage I snapped this package up as soon as it was offered and I’m hoping for more bundles to be sold by madmunki in the near future. If there’s still a fun-loving child within you (or is you are one!) you’ll enjoy this spunderful package, offered by madmunki for the incredibly low price of $5.99. That’s spunerific!
