Ajagara’s Peak

by Susan, HSM team writer

Ajagara. A destination that had been isolated from the rest of Home — until now.

Until Lockwood Publishing discovered this remote location, Ajagara was merely a resting place for few select weary travelers, seeking a path to enlightenment — or something like that. This place has no built-in media screens with EOD access. I mean, why have a TV when you don’t even have electricity? Besides, you’re here to meditate. Cell phone service? Forget about it. I’m telling you that this must be  the site where the term living off the grid originated from.

How this site was constructed is a mystery to those that knew of its existence before this public announcement of its discovery. It has been here longer than anyone can remember. Maybe that great sea navigator, Noah, passed by here and didn’t even know it. Today, it is used by a group of what might be could be called aviators, daredevils, thrillseekers or even adrenaline junkies. Who are they? The Dragon Scouts. And by night, they rid the land of all evildoers — but by day, they do something entirely different. For a fee, they will pick you up from your hotel (whilst astride a fire-breathing dragon) and take you on a journey that might get you killed along the way.

Want to go to Ajagara’s Peak and visit the monastery? Then you have to catch a ride with one of these guys. A good thing is that they are non-union, which means you can haggle for a better price. Which, hey, when flying atop a huge dragon to upwards of 15,000 feet, price haggling is important.

Lockwood has taken this place of seclusion and replicated it for everyone to own and enjoy. They have set up several different options for the consumer to select from. Ajagara’s Peak has two ultimate bundles: female and male.  Included in these are the estate itself and a selection of wardrobe items that resemble the uniforms of the Dragon Scouts. Inventory items in this bundle include several different dragon LMOs, and you can either ride or transform your avatar into one of these beasts. Which one will you pledge your allegiance to?

If just the LMOs appeal to you, or just select wardrobe items or just the estate itself, Lockwood has already thought of that. Once inside the grounds you will find seven different daily owner rewards.

There is no precise analogue to Ajagara’s Peak, but the closest real-world setting would likely be the Paro Taktsang  སྤ་རོ སྟ་ཏྴ་ནྒ་ (better known to westerners as the Tiger’s Nest), in Bhutan. Granted, there’s a healthy dollop of Shangri-La mythos added on top of it, garnished further with some high-fantasy dragon-riding tropes.

And you know what? It’s an absolute winner.

Lockwood’s done it again. Discover Ajagara’s Peak.
