VEEMEE’s Latest Kitchen Addition
by Burbie52, HSM team writer
Thinking back, it is hard to believe that not too long ago if your estate in Home didn’t have a kitchen or bath, you were out of luck — as there was nothing to make one with. My, how times have changed! Interactivity is the soup du jour of Home in recent months. This year will be known as the year that interactivity reached a peak in Home and its economy.
VEEMEE’s kitchens have always been top of the line when it comes to look and style. They were one of the first to bring this option into PlayStation Home, and they did it with a flair that is all their own. This week’s update brings yet another in their long line of kitchen building kits, called Premium Oak. They are a silver-toned set with lovely hints of wood added to them.
The new set has all of the same detailed pieces that you have come to expect from the VEEMEE line of products, but this one has a few new twists to the furniture line: there are three appliances which are active items, to add to the realism we want in Home. They have made the refrigerator open and shut, added a toaster that pops up and down, and a microwave that has interactivity as well. Each of these has an eight-slot cost — which, without knowing the details behind the scenes, seems a bit high — but the prices are right at $1.49 for the fridge and $.99 for the toaster and microwave respectively.
This group includes a few pieces that are a bit different from previous offerings, like the sink set in a center counter and the small side pieces with shelving. It makes for a much more versatile set to play with, and can be easily added to previous sets because of the neutral colors.
They have a large variety of bundled packs to choose from, as always, if you want the furniture as well. These range from the Ultimate Bundle, which has everything included for $6.99, to an economy bundle for $4.49 with only the fridge added, to a Breakfast Bundle with three pieces and the fridge for $3.49. You can purchase the three new appliances only for $2.49 as well.
All of these are available individually as well, of course, in prices ranging from $1.49 to $.99, but the bundled packs are a great bargain as always. So spruce up your newest apartment with one of these lovely new sets; you won’t be disappointed.
