Element and Street Style Apparel, by VEEMEE

by Jin Lovelace, HSM team writer & filmmaker

This week’s release from VEEMEE caught my attention more than I expected.

I’ve stated this many times in past fashion articles, and I think this is where I need to reiterate: the Element line is quality fashion apparel, and the Street Style line is anything but stereotypical.

First off: summer is just underway (though where I am, it already came early) and the Element brand will guarantee to have your wardrobe even hotter. While I’m not enamored by the past couple of releases under this brand (more shirts and tanks than what I desire for my wardrobe to be cluttered with), the dip-typed maxi Mandela Dress changed that perspective with two optional hues of black or rose. The etchings of this dress can be perfectly fitted with a Tote Bag from Billabong and a Sun Hat of the same brand.

Along with the colorful Kareena Shorts (available in Navy and Terra, with the latter color having more of an earthy appeal) that can call for some colorfully deceptive outfits, males can stroll around with an assortment of hoodies for a casual, rugged skater concoction.

As for the Street Style wear, expect more flair for your buck — literally.

The familiar motifs of the Star Shoulder Slung Tops receive a longer variation of the ab-revealing clothing from the first release. The tasteful tops can be paired with the brand’s own One up Jogging Bottoms and High Tops, or you can utilize your own pants or skirts in your wardrobe (I personally prefer to try these with Leggings or even tight-fit jeans).

And, I might add: this time around, VEEMEE offers some of the best hats for the female avatar ever made available, with spunky hairstyles to compliment the headwear (especially Billabong’s Trucker Caps, which uses a hairstyle now sold under the developer’s Split Ends collection).

If you’re looking for a reason to invest in any styles from either the Element or Street Style brands, this week will give you just that.
