Drey VIP Room

by Jin Lovelace, HSM team writer & filmmaker

There are personal spaces, there is creativity — and then there’s Lockwood.

I’ll admit that I’m a sucker for a subtle setting in Home. Notably, such spaces like the Tuscan Villa Apartment and the Serenity Lake (the latter being one of my new favorites from the developer), have a sort of evergreen appeal. These days I find myself more into my own estates instead of visiting the public spaces, mainly for the atmosphere these spaces purvey. The Serenity Lake is definitely my primary example to this point, mostly due to the options available. It’s a small but effective presentation. The perks lies with the options available in the space, from changing seasons to the subtle lighting.

The draw here isn’t just the visual aesthetics, but how the space appeals to you. What drives me back to my Tuscan Villa Apartment aren’t just the hues, but the real nature of the space’s purpose: comfort. Adding furniture that would absorb its theme outputs great clarity to your purchase, especially if the price value is a bit out of your budget range but managed to take a risk for rewards.

Believe it or not, the Drey VIP Room is, perhaps, one of the greatest gifting ideas to ever be conceived from Lockwood. I had the pleasure of unexpectedly receiving this gift from the gracious Sue, who surprised me with this during the holiday season. She’ll tell you herself, my gratitude was more than beyond what I could output in this article, moreso personally to her.

This machinima piece showcases a bit of my interior decorating talents, although I’m trying to stay thematically within the setting and taste of the VIP Room. I didn’t desire to go eccentric with the space; I just wanted to expound upon one of the many decorating options for this space — so I went the boutique route.

As for the music choice, Camp Lo’s “Luchini (This Is It!)” instrumental came to mind once I entered, with a bit of a even tempo but enough to give you a funky, yet relaxing, feeling. And, if you notice, I’m also playing around a bit with the overlay logo designs. I hope you enjoy.
