Lockwood’s Half-Off Sales Event

by Jin Lovelace, HSM team writer & filmmaker

2013 was, in my view, the year of Lockwood, with some amazing content released, ranging from the the Drey fashion line, Foal, to some very exceptional personal spaces. Perhaps, if anything, I’ve caught up with nearly every last space the developer had released thus far, save for a few.

But it’s not like I need a good reason for me to plunk my cash towards any of the abodes, aside from the aesthetics and how well it fits my personality as a whole. But dang it Lockwood, why do this — why run a half-off sale — on the month of my birthday?

(Like this is a bad thing, really.)

From January 8th until the 22nd, Home will see a bevy of personal spaces and clubhouses that will be available at a half-price, along with the content associated with the spaces. These spaces range from the Venue, the Nightmare Yacht, the Prehistoric Valley, Drop Science Subway Station to the Arctic Voyage and Whimsy Hollow that you can gift your friends. Six apartments, two clubhouses and four Gift Machine apartments are all up for grabs at reduced prices.

That’s a lot.

I can’t stress enough that now is the perfect time to add these personal spaces to your collection, especially since there is fun to be had with many of them. The Venue offers options where you can customize the place to match your motive, be it as a nightclub or the main hangout for you and your friends to express your fashion statements. This grabbed my attention and is an immediate purchase for those that are looking to unleash their inner fashion sense.

Look for this sale to take place this week. In the meantime, here is a video that’ll give you an idea for what else to come.
