Fashion Highlights

We’ve come a long way from loading up to Central Plaza to rush on over to the Kiosk to view the new releases that week, or hang out over at the Mall to swing by Threads and Lockwood for their updates. From the $0.49 shirts and jeans found in the former store to the latter’s offerings of their very first colorful corsets, I often window shop to view some of the older clothing available that I haven’t purchased or just sift through my storage to view the garments that I’ve bought.
Most of all, the developers. One of the more memorable turns of events was the emergence of the Dani MtlDesigner brand, releasing fresh designs which were a departure from the U Love Green series, along with the skateboard company, Element, making their way into the Home scene that now sits alongside real-world brands Billabong and Wrangler. From the new line of skirts by Lockwood, to the more recent Not So Basic line, this is a total step up from the years of wearing our Chun Li costumes. Things are much more elaborate these days.
The Fashion Highlights video touches upon some of the fashion releases back in 2013 and moving forward. I don’t have too much to say about the creation of this video, aside from the fact that I think it’s important to remind every Home machinimist out there to keep moving forward and creating new works. Every time we create, we learn and we improve.
Freddie Joachim takes stage with his “High Love” piece that I felt would mesh very well with the intro to the presentation. You can read my fashion highlights of 2013 article over at the site (http://www.twilighttouchinc.com/2013/12/2013-home-fashion-highlights.html).
I am, however, elated for what’s to come this year with the prominent developers; here’s hoping for another exciting fashion brand to lend their designs to the community.
