Dani’s Designs

There are an incredible amount of styles, colors and designs offered in clothing on Home these last few years – enough variety to accommodate nearly everyone’s tastes.
You can choose types of outfits that are suitable for any location where you would like to spend time while you’re there. There are probably hundreds of swimsuits and sandals between the male and female styles, if you like to spend time at poolsides or the beaches such as Glittering Sands. You can choose from even more hundreds of other casual clothing articles such as sneakers, pants, jeans, shorts, t-shirts, and blouses to wear at spaces such as Acorn Meadows Park or Serenity Plaza. Of course, you can dress up too, if you prefer — and many do. There are various tuxedos and suits for the guys and a lot of fancy high heels and floor-length dresses for the ladies. There are even mid-length dresses that would look good in places like SingStar or the Casino on Home. Within this variety, there are a plethora of clothes available that look like clothes you would wear in the non-virtual world.
There is one Home designer brought to us by Codeglue that I would especially like to recommend to you ladies. Ever since Dani burst onto the Home scene in May last year with her “U Love Green” line of clothing, many of us have appreciated her truly appealing and feminine styles. These clothes, which are based on her real world eco-friendly clothing, are a line of organic lingerie and comfort clothing. She states they are a healthier choice for consumers and the environment. This year she has come out with a new line of clothing under her own name (The Dani Collection), that is only available on Home. Both of her lines of clothing combine a femininity that you can almost feel, with elegance, soft flowing lines, many pastel shades, flower appliqués and an underlying hint of sexiness.
Her designs offer other great details and other special additions, such as the heart wand with her Valentine’s outfits or the matching flower bracelet with her “Magic Sparkles” outfits or a cute purse such as the one with her “Express Your Color” outfits. Her color-coordinated boots, shoes, and sandals are always adorable and don’t make your feet look too big or abnormally small, either. One great thing about her clothing sets is that they are complete outfits with matching shoes and they often have a variety of other accessories too, such as earrings or necklaces. Sometimes they even include stylish sunglasses or lovely hairdo’s as well.
You can pick up her clothing articles by individual pieces or in money-saving packs. It’s always nice to have that choice! One of the things I love about buying several of Dani’s bundles at a time is that you can mix and match so many of the pieces in them. It’s fun to swap out the shoes or other accessories to coordinate with clothing articles in a different color. For instance, her new “Fall Inspiration” line are five piece bundles and they are offered in black, red and white. The black outfit is trimmed in red, the red is trimmed in black, and the white is trimmed in black and red. There are almost endless well-coordinated combinations that can be made with these three sets. I’m loving matching and re-matching mine and I bet you would to.
As you may know, Dani is a long-time Home user herself; she is also an outstanding graphic artist, web designer, trendsetter and a fashion lover. She is French Canadian and a resident of Montreal, Quebec. I’d love to see more of her designs in Home soon and I hope she has a Winter line or Christmas outfits to offer us in December. It would also be fun to see what she could design for the guys of Home.

Home is endlessly entertaining to this California girl. Kassadee has been in Home for about four years, and loves almost everything about it (with a few notable exceptions). She spends way too much money there, and perhaps too much time... Someday she will travel the world and write about the people she meets and the places she sees.

When I first saw Dani’s logo on home I kept thinking. “I’ve seen that before” Until the three letter in the middle strikeed me. daniMTLdesing. Of course! Montréal, my hometown
Montréal is not New-York or Paris, but there is a strong, creative and original designer “scene”. Many of them are “environnemental concious”.
I’m proud to have her in home with us and I almost bought something just for the cause… Not that I use my female avi much
