Sodium, Delirious Squid and Beyond: the Latest from Lockwood
by Jin Lovelace, HSM team writer & filmmaker
Lockwood has been on a roll this year, and it’s looking like they aren’t stopping. We’ve received a ton of fashion items and saw some updates on the current fashions available. To be honest, I’m pretty lethargic on stating time and time again on how awesome Lockwood really is for their diversity on fashion and pretty much every other content type available on Home.
So for this week, we’re receiving some quality furniture courtesy of the Delirious Squid line and an update on the hugely popular Sodium Dungaree Pants.
Gothic Furniture
To be honest, there isn’t really enough Gothic-style furniture on Home, save for the fantastic Gothic line from Konami. But with the Delirious Squid line dabbling into the dark genre, I guess it’s not really surprise to see the said line expanding with decorative parcels for your disposal. And to think, it’s just in time for Halloween.
I admit, I’m a sucker for Goth commodities. It’s been a while since I’ve been to my Gothic Cathedral to decorate that behemoth of an abode with one-hundred pieces of furniture, more likely due to just not having enough furniture of it’s type without some form of banality to its charm. The Victorian Gothic Furniture takes the inspiration from the historic Gothic time period and adds a brooding touch with dark shades and hues.
For $11.99 you can own the complete value pack of the Magick set that comes with the majestic Gothic Chaise Lounge to the exquisite, finely detailed Gothic Bed. Being from the Delirious Squid line, this is a very nice addition and a must-have for any interior designers of Home that are looking to spruce up their spaces for this upcoming Halloween season or to really make people wonder just how dark and moody they are.
Sodium Dungarees
For those that had the pleasure to visit the x7 Club or are familiar with the garment themselves may have tried on these colorful Salopette-Style Dungarees, courtesy of Lockwood’s popular Sodium line. The Dungarees have been widely popular for their baggy design with the brace straps hanging to the side of the hips, saving for the bib design that would cover the stomach area.
Those that have been following the Sodium clothing line would know that these pants were only available in neutral colors exclusive to males. For this update, the males receive a gold color variant, while the females are introduced to a new line of colors in Oyster, Combat, and Rust. They display the same saggy design but adds a feminine touch with the choice of hues available. While it’s pretty rare that I add anything saggy into my wardrobe, these styles already gave me some ideas on a few casual, yet earthy styles to purvey comfort fit while holding onto the signature futuristic grunge appeal only found in the Sodium universe.
The Salopette-Style Dungarees are available to purchase for $0.99 for both male and female under the New & Featured Items tab in your menu, then under the Sodium section.
To say this is a great year for Lockwood would be an understatement and I laud the updates on old fashions with a new twist. Perhaps we’ll see some more fashion updates with the Cropped Shirts with more tattoo designs?
