Why I Love Home!
by FEMAELSTROM, HSM team writer
I came here some two and a half years ago. It was mostly by accident, but I consider it a great accident. Since my time on Home began, I have met a great group of friends and have become more than I ever thought I would. I spent most of my time alone in the beginning, but as my friends list began to grow, so did the fun and adventure here in what is a fantastic place where one can be or do whatever they want.
In my time here I have been so many things that it is almost impossible to list. But they include a pirate, an alien, a mummy, a vampire, a dapper gent, a Jedi, and a robot. But the best thing I have been is a friend. There are costumes in Home to fill any appetite, but when I realized that I was showing my costumes off to friends, Home became so much more valuable to me. The simple thought that at the end of the day, I knew people (and they knew me) from around the nation, and in Canada, as well as in some cases other, farther nations, made me feel really great that a place like Home existed.
Here we can own countless homes, and wear any clothes that are available, and float around the world in LMOs. We have a wide and fun field of virtual companions that escort us around, depending on our taste.
In Home, we can travel to some wild and diverse places. We have a grand central park, we have dance clubs, there are the core places like Indie Park where smaller independent games have a foothold. We have The Hub, to welcome all when first loading up, and places like the Adventure and Action districts, where there are fun games to play like the Cutthroats and Bootleggers. We have a bowling alley, and cabinet arcade games to buy. Private homes are well crafted and made for countless hours of fun, either decorating or being with friends. We can own clubs and join clubs. There is so much to do, that when one looks around, there truly is never a shortage of things to entertain you for countless hours.
Yes, I love Home. And if you give it a fair chance, you will too.
