Juggernaut Brings Cuteness To Home
by Burbie52, HSM team writer
When I was a kid, I always wanted to live on a farm. My parents had some friends who did just that, and once in a while all of us would pile into the station wagon to go visit them. It wasn’t too far of a drive really, but it always seemed like it took forever to get there because I loved playing around when we arrived. Collecting eggs from the chickens was a particular favorite of mine, though sometimes it was quite a chore, because if a hen was on the nest, you had to learn how not to get pecked for your trouble. I loved throwing feed for them as well; watching them peck the ground and follow me was always a treat.
With Juggernaut’s Bramblenook Farm released this past week, I have finally been able to relive that fond memory of my childhood. I can once again feed the chickens, and though I can’t gather eggs from them like I used to, I have been having a great time developing my farm and I’m looking forward to what Juggernaut brings to us as time goes on. They are known for consistent updates to their spaces, like the Cutteridge estate, and I know they will do the same with Bramblenook as well.
They have already added a new product to the Bramblenook line in this week’s update. We will be able to have the cute farm animals we raise there wander in any of our personal spaces with three new active items. Chicks, lambs and piglets have come to PlayStation Home.
Now I know that in the past there have been active item animals released, but they stayed in their pens and didn’t do a lot. They also cost you twenty-two furniture slots to use. In contrast, these cute and cuddly offerings will only be six slots each, and once activated, they will wander all over your spaces. This is a much better way to have some fun with your personal spaces than a penned one was.
I can’t wait to use them in my Lockwood Sunlit Meadow, and I may also set them out in my Midnight Glade space. I don’t really need them at my Bramblenook Farm as it comes with built in ones already, and I have already used up my furniture slots. I hope that other developers create outdoor spaces we can use for these types of active items as time goes on.
Each of these new animals will come with their own little homes, a chicken coop, a small pen and a nice little covered sty for the piglets. I think it is great they decided to use the babies for this instead of the full grown versions, they are so much cuter. If these perform like the previous ones that Juggernaut has produced they are bound to be popular items. I love the beehive that I got when I purchased the furniture bundle for Bramblenook, nothing like having bees chase you around.
I hope that this new line of items that Juggernaut is bringing us is only the beginning of a whole Bramblenook themed series of items. They are the undisputed masters of memory allocation in Home and I will be waiting with bated breathe for what they come up with next as they expand this idea.

That was interesting. I like interesting. Looking forward to the farming.
Great article Burbie. I myself really did get a chance to live on a farm- a ranch actually in Australia. It was the hardest work I have ever done in my life- outside of Hospice. But one of the most rewarding things as well. This is a very fun game. Not only is it fun but it starts to teach a little about the rudimentary concepts behind Economics. I hope they expand on the game as I have already obtained all my furniture items
-boy virtual chopping of wood takes its toll but it is far less exhausting than the real thing LOL. Thank you again for the lovely article
