Pattern Mania Leggings by Codeglue
by Jin Lovelace, HSM filmmaker
This video presentation features Codeglue’s Leggings, particularly the Pattern Mania bundle, used to created outfits with, all produced by your’s truly.
The purpose of this video is to present some examples of how you could create some simplistic to complex designer outfits with the use of these leggings. To my surprise, many had inquired to me on how they could create effective styles, and believe me, this was a quite the challenge. However, it was rather fun.
There is so much diversity in play with the items available on Home that you could use. For me, I took the approach of a more mature, sultry take on some designs rather than the typical “skimpy diva” look that too many will find themselves copying and adopting. Some designs were inspired by my own fashion catalogs (Midnight Feast and Infinitum), and accented by the newly released Biker Jackets by Atom Republic, a U Love Green apparel sample, as well as a design inspired by a friend, “Biobee” (the Leopard Print Leggings).
As of this video posting, I’ll have my full review and more fashion photos on the Stylish Leggings Bundle. This video is to just serve as some examples on what you could come up with. These were just some of my own. There is a second part to this full presentation, and to view that, please visit my website for more.
Thanks to Codeglue for releasing these wonderful leggings, and a shout out to Atom Republic and U Love Green as well.
My dearest thanks to Ms. Biobee for the inspiration and, of course, HomeStation Magazine .
Your video was a pleasant revelation, Jin. I glanced at the small pictures in the store, said “Ugh!” and moved on. But you have combined these garish leotard-things into some very classy outfits. I’m starting to see some real potential here. Thank you!
I wouldn’t say “garish” but I do see how they can be a bit too vivid on certain patterns and even the styles (see my Stylish Uni Leggings, more so the Glitter Leggings)but most of the styles compiled in the video presentation provided some examples on how to actually use them properly, effectively, and speaks volume than the average outfit design on Home that features an explicit, non-realistic motiv that doesn’t provide a sense of character.
i can honestly say, however, is I stated the exact thing: “Ugh! Something more for the any who will ruin these leggings and make them into obscurity.” The challenge was to create styles with newer and even older items on Home, which I even had to refer to my storage for my Winter styles.
Overall, I highly recommend that you at least try one of the styles in the video, Seal. I can definitely see you in the U Love Green design. :3
A great honor to even read your response to this.
