nDreams’ Little Secret: Exposed!

by Kassadee Marie, HSM team writer

Recently it was brought to my attention through a private source that will remain unnamed, of course, that nDreams was secretly selling furniture at their Blueprint: Home private estate space. I was truly shocked at this information. Had I had missed seeing any notice of these items going up for sale somehow or was nDreams hiding something from us, the dedicated Homers? I rushed to my “maze space” as I think of it, to see just what they were possibly concealing. Here’s what I discovered: Not only are they hiding a great line-up of outdoor furniture items, they are covering up the fact that these items can be used in other personal spaces, also. As a front line reporter, I felt it was my sacred duty and journalistic obligation to bring news of this secret out into the open for our dedicated readers.

There are 26 items available there and frankly, they are not that well concealed, in my opinion. All you need to do is go to the workstation and then open up the line called “Recommended Furniture” and you will be taken right to the store. Some of these items are offered individually, some in several bundles, and one large bundle contains of all the items. Since this giant pack, called the “Great Outdoors Bundle” contains all of the items for only $12.99 (about $.50 each item), I felt this incredible bargain should be the first thing I brought to our worthy subscribers’ notice. These items are worth at least twice that amount, so here’s your chance to get back back at nDreams and practically steal these items they’ve kept hidden from us. Please read further for additional information that I have managed to ferret-out, on all of these bundles and items.

There are also five reasonably-priced bundles offered, if you like to pick and choose the type of items that you want. In addition to these bundles and items being concealed by nDreams it is probable that some (if not all) of these packs were miss-priced at lower amount than they intended. Frankly, their loss in this case, is very much our gain and it’s too late for them to change the prices.

Patio Furniture Bundle

For only $4.99, the patio furniture bundle offers nine items. These are the single-item patio set, the table with attached over-sized parasol item, and the curved, padded patio chair. Each of these items come in three color choices of white, black and natural wood. With this pack, you can have classy patio furniture in all of your spaces with outdoor areas and you can choose the color you like best in each of your personal estates. And with these two styles, you can choose the set-up at each estate, as well. The beautiful and colorful outdoor flower display bundle contains three each of flower pots and larger flower beds and this bundle sells for only $2.99 for all six gorgeous items.

Boxing Workout Bundle

The other $2.99 pack is the boxing work out bundle and this will be a favorite with the guys, I’m betting. Included is this little bundle are the punch-man, punch-ball and free-standing punch bag. These are three-slot active furniture items, that show your avatar punching and weaving through a workout. How’s that for a great feature? You can also purchase any one of these items for $1.99 each, if you chose. Guys, decorating is not just for the ladies and it never was!

Some of my personal favorite items are offered in the two three-item $1.99 bundles. The potted tree bundle is truly incredible and offers three large trees in golden containers for this one low price. There is a sculptured cone-shaped evergreen tree, a tall lemon fruit-tree and a wind-blown Cyprus tree. A tree for almost every setting, it seems. The hedge maze bundle has a large, regular, and corner hedge pieces that are also sculptured and they are perfect for creating a maze at Blueprint: Home. The other trees would make a fun addition to any maze, also.

Potted Tree Bundle

If you love the serenity of fountains and fish ponds as much as some do, be sure to pick up these two moving one-slot items, sold separately for $1.99 each. The wonderful circular stone pond has golden fish swimming  around, about and under the green lily pads and the fountain is a water feature that is especially appealing with water pouring in a sheath over a large black marble ball and into a sizable bowl of the same material below. This is another item that I could see appealing to the guys, as well as the ladies.

What nDreams seems to want to keep hidden from all of us (and failed to do, thanks to investigative reporting!) is that these items can also add a feeling of elegance (inside or outside) to other personal estates, such as Musicality, Aurora Island or the Savage Manor estate, for example.

I can only hope that this expose has taught nDreams a lesson and in the future they will refrain from trying to hide things from the crack reporters here at Home Station Magazine. I’ve been jumping from estate to estate, adding, re-arranging and having a great time re-decorating with these new, fabulous items and there’s not a thing they can do to keep me quiet about it!

Home is endlessly entertaining to this California girl. Kassadee has been in Home for about four years, and loves almost everything about it (with a few notable exceptions). She spends way too much money there, and perhaps too much time... Someday she will travel the world and write about the people she meets and the places she sees.

    Nice reporting Kass,
I saw these Christmas time and had to have the pond and water feature. They were a lovely gift. :)

  2. KrazyFace says:

So, can you access this stuff through a friend’s space or do you need to own Blueprint to be able to buy these things?

  3. cube says:

These appeared in Home shortly after new year. They are in the nDreams store on the navigator. They have never been exclusively in the apartment!

That’s why the satirical tone of the article cracks me up. Dressing up what’s right in plain sight as a “secret” is a wonderfully asymmetrical method of calling attention to these commodities and getting people talking about them. It’s one of the funniest PR articles I’ve read in quite a while. :D

  4. CMCSAVAGE says:

    Correction:
These were in the regular store in EU but were only available in the Apt. in NA, by a screw up of course.
nDreams wasn’t aware until they were notified via Twitter.
It’s all good now. They were meant to be in the regular store, not “Hidden”.

  5. Godzprototype says:

I love a good conspiracy! Thanks for the info Kass.

Obviously nDreams got word of my article and put all of these items in their store in an effort to hide their nefarious schemes. They probably thought we would pull the article and they still probably think that no one will look for furniture objects under their Blueprint: Home tab where these packs and items can be found now.

Very interesting Kassadee, once again you’re at the forefront of home news.
