HomeStation Presents: Caption This Picture #15

by Olivia_Allin, HSM photographer

So this time we have a very unique picture for everyone to take a stab at:

  1. It’s an actual photograph, instead of an in-Home photo;
  2. It’s from a developer;
  3. It’s seriously weird!

The image in question is from Sophia over at Lockwood, and is used with her permission. Evidently, this is one of the views from their offices in the United Kingdom — and if you look closely at it, you have to wonder: what the heck is going on with this grave?

Let’s face it: this is a rather Silent Hill image. What’s in that gravesite? Why is it so protected? Is the cage to keep wayward pedestrians from getting too close, or is it to keep whatever’s in there from getting out?

Is this the sign of an impending zombie apocalypse? You tell us. Caption this picture!

Olivia_Allin is a team writer, photographer, model, curator, graphic artist, researcher and comic relief for HomeStation Magazine; she lives in Texas with her boyfriend, and Home is more than just a game to her. Years ago she discovered the meaning of life but forgot to write it down. On weekends, to let off steam, she participate in full-contact origami. She saw a Bigfoot once, made a sound you never want to hear twice, and was so proud of her Special Olympics gold medal that she had it bronzed. She is, in her own words, adorkable.

    I died for beauty, but was scarce
    Adjusted in the tomb,
    When one who died for truth was lain
    In an adjoining room.

    He questioned softly why I failed?
    “For beauty,” I replied.
    “And I for truth -- the two are one;
    We brethren are,” he said.

    And so, as kinsmen met a-night,
    We talked between the rooms,
    Until the moss had reached our lips,
    And covered up our names.

  11. I don’t have anything funny to say except that in Sunlit Meadows (I think that;s what it’s called), I built a small cemetery using four iron fencings and putting a gravestone inside.
    It looks very much like the one pictured in the article except I have one headstone.

    As to why I’m posting this useless information… Boris sent me. ;)

  12. MJG74 says:

    The smallest Mexican cemetery in Texas

    So far, we’ve only had to eliminate two people in such a manner.
