Many of us have memories of the beach. When I was a kid, it was a whole lot of fun going to the beach or a state park along Lake Michigan that had one. This was something we did every year; whether it be for a day or during my father’s two-week vacation, inevitably we ended up at a beach every summer. We would make the traditional sand castles, complete with moats, and do some fishing or walk along it early in the morning and look for treasures washed up by the waves overnight whenever we could.

But the one constant in our escapades as children were the ever-present floats. Be they an inner tube or an inflatable mat, we always loved the feeling of floating on the water as it bounced us up and down on the waves. We loved to use them in the swimming pool our dad set up every year in the backyard as well.

Granzella has come up with a new commodity, releasing this week to add to the experiences we have at their sunny beach: those wonderful floats I remember from my childhood. And they look like a lot of fun, too. They have been adding new things to their Glittering Sands Beach on a regular basis since it came out, but not in the way of upgrading the beach itself; instead, they are giving us things to use to enhance the time we spend there. This is a smart move because we all like to visit public areas that have something unique to the environment that adds to what we can do, especially if they are changed occasionally to keep it fresh.

I like that they have added the ability to ride on some of these with a friend. Anything like this that adds to the social side of Home is a plus in my book, and these are no exception. They look like they come with a few different animations as well as the ability to float and drift about on the tubes.

Granzella introduces the Inner Tube and Swimming Float Series.

Able to be used while swimming at the Glittering Sands Beach, the Inner Tube and Swimming Float have arrived. One person can ride the Dolphin and Orca shaped Swimming Floats and the Mat shaped Swimming Float can be used by up to two people.

Each is available in aqua, pink, yellow, and green.

Additionally the Swimming Floats can also be used with Everyone’s Picture: On the Beach. Choose a pose on a Swimming Float, try taking a picture of yourself!

The beach is now more fun! Grab a Swimming Float and dive in!

I wish we could use these somewhere else besides the Glittering Sands Beach, as they look like they are going to be a nice addition to Home. The fact you can take pictures here, just as you can on the beach chairs and towels in various poses, is nice though; that probably wouldn’t be possible anywhere else because it uses the system built into the beach area.

There seems to be a growing community at the beach; it is much like it was when Irem was there, and it seems those that loved hanging there have found a new home in Home. These new additions of Granzella’s will only add to the feeling of reality that the swimming ability added to the space.
