Twilight Touch Presents: Material World Fashion Show

by Jin Lovelace, HSM team writer

Home has undergone a major face-lift regarding how fashion as a commodity is viewed. From my personal experience, I’ve attended countless fashion events and shows, all which — by their own merit — held aesthetic interest on how to deconstruct certain fashions and on how to appreciate them. These days, most fashion shows are tailored to focus on popularity and the models behind the fashions, not showcasing the items alone.

Twilight Touch has built a brand for its fashions, featuring custom outfit designs, tips, and reviews on some of the items found and released to the virtual community. For some time now, many people have requested a fashion show from us; to put a unique spin on what we have to offer and to provide a motivation for models to strut their stuff (meaning give away PSN cards), where the best outfit wins.

Unfortunately, you won’t see these sort of prizes in our upcoming fashion show, Material World. Aside from one familiar face (the host and show DJ, Praise-B), everything else is based loosely on talent, hard work, organization, and most of all, artistry. You will quickly discover that the fashions come first, models second. The real prize is in showing off the fashions themselves.

I don’t want to spoil the whole show here. Rather, I would like for you to come and experience this spectacle.

As mentioned, this show is hosted by Praise-B, who will also provide music for the show. For more details, visit our website and read the article about it posted on the Twilight Touch website.

Before I leave you, a short note about the video: I felt that instead of featuring the models of the show, I wanted to just provide a simple tease of the setting, along with the host.

We look forward to seeing you there!
