Go Lockwood on a Budget
by Kassadee Marie, HSM team writer
Right now, Lockwood is having an end-of-season sale, and you shouldn’t miss this opportunity to pick up any items that appeal to you at these great savings. Here are some tips, featuring items that if you haven’t picked them up yet, are a real steal, available in this sale.
When a personal estate in Home provides something extra and still costs only $4.99, it’s a bargain. When the extra something is a really fun game in a very unusual space, it’s a great bargain. Blaster’s Paradise from Lockwood is a personal space like that. There in that exterior-styled space you will find a game called Tank Top Shooter, one of the best small, one-person games offered on Home. You may have played this game at a demo level at the Lockwood Showcase on one of the occasions it was offered there, and you know how fun and addictive it can be to try to better your personal best score. There at that personal estate you can also try to best friends’ scores, shown weekly on the leaderboard. It also has areas to decorate, including a small beach, teleporters to the Sodium public space and games, and great views of the ocean, waterfalls and an abandoned mill. Lockwood has a way of making the impossible look realistic. In Blaster’s Paradise you will have a close view of an endless whirlpool very near to areas of calm water with colorful fish swimming about.
If you are a Stitchkins fan, you’ll appreciate the items on sale in this line. There are eight packs of four items available for $1.49 each. In this bundle, you will receive a companion, matching wall item and t-shirts in male and female styles. Choose between two each of bunnies, Fruit Salad and Humbug; monkeys, Peanut Butter and Raisin; St. Bernard’s, Carmel and Jellybean and bulldogs, Blueberry and Brownie. At this price, you may want to pick up several. But first, check out the other companions on sale. There are eighteen of them available for under a dollar apiece. Including those previously listed and with the addition of the two unicorns and two Pegasus, twelve of the Stitchkins companions are available for $.99 each. There are also some adorable kittens on sale. The Siamese kittens are on sale for $.99 each in male or female kittens. Four other kittens are on sale for only $.79 each. Pick up one or more of the tabbies in orange or black and white, in male or female kittens. You’ll love their endearing antics.
If you’re looking for some new hairstyles, one of my favorite styles, called The Beauty, is also on sale for only $.49. I love this casual pony tail that hangs down over one shoulder. If you haven’t picked the Medusa Summer Hairstyles Pack, you should definitely look this bargain pack over. Each bundle is $1.79 for five hairstyles for females and four for the guys. Even if you only liked two of them, you would be saving money over the individual price of $.99 each. One of the great things about Home is that it can be summer there all year long, if you want.
Speaking of summer, the Cucumber J’Adore summer items are on sale also. For $.49 each, you can pick up the barbecue, slatted chair or bench. For $.79 you can pick up the chiminea, which is an outdoor fire pit with chimney, or the patio table with umbrella. The best savings is the three piece bundle for $.99 that includes the barbecue, slatted chair and patio table with umbrella. These items would look great on the beach at Blaster’s Paradise.
The Slice couch and table set is also on sale. Pick up all four pieces consisting of a straight couch, a curved couch, a square table and a high, round table in three different colors for $1.29 each. Your color choices are Truffle, which is a butter yellow, Flapjack, which is black/dark gray or Charm, which is white. For $2.49 you can pick up a bundle of all 12 items in this line, which will allow you to mix and match.
There is also quite a bit of interesting clothing on sale that you might like. Look over the sale items and then pick up a pack or two in various styles. Each pack has between three and eight pieces, and some include hairstyles. Three clothing packs are available for $.99 for the guys and for the ladies. Choose between two rockabilly outfits, called the Juliana and Fruits ‘n’ Flowers, or the Lifeguard clothing packs for females, and two rockabilly outfits, called Hey Ray and Danny Boy, or the Lifeguard clothing packs for males. There are two outfits available for the ladies and one for the guys for $1.29 each.
The fifties-styled greaser clothing pack is for the guys and the girls can choose between the fifties-styled dresses in the Polka Hot and Azure Beauty clothing packs. For $1.49, ladies can select between some recent offerings called the Drey Pop Princess line. Choose between Brights, Silver Granite and Peacock, or pick up all three colors in a mega bundle for $2.49. At the price of $1.49, the guys can pick up one of the “Number One” packs in Brights, Cobalt blue or Gray, or the ultimate bundle of all three colors for $3.99. These recent items for the guys compliment the Pop Princess line.
For $1.79 the guys can choose a seventies look in two styles, called Fitness Fanatic and Disco Freak. The ladies’ seventies packs are offered in two mega bundles for $2.99 each, called Cutting Edge and So Now clothing packs. These bundles have eight items including a visor hairstyle in each. These last packs are my idea of having fun cosplaying a certain decade or era in Home.
I should also mention that the Dream Yacht is on sale for two dollars less than the usual price of $9.99, which is 20% off. Remember, this large estate comes with thirty furniture items for the owner and seven for guests, over a period of time. It also has diurnal control, a built-in gift machine and an exclusive shop and more.
Now that I’ve gone over all these great sale items from Lockwood, I need to run. I have some shopping to do, because as you know, I can’t resist a bargain. See you in the mall!
Nice job dissecting that huge pack of discounts Kass. I have many of them already as Lockwood is a fave of mine, but there are plenty of people who don’t. Good write up.
