Elegant

Harbour Studio, default clothes from a thrift store, and public spaces that were functional rather than fanciful: that describes my first impression of Home about two years ago. And then, the floodgates opened and new spaces and item options changed the face of Home.
I will always be grateful to the developers who lead the way: Lockwood, Irem, Billabong, nDreams, and some of the Sony contractors who made real life dreams and fantasy experiences a possibility. As an example, the attention to detail in the Assassin’s Creed apartment is amazing. The atmosphere of the Paris Clocktower apartment captures the Paris skyline of the post-war ear of the 1950’s and preserves it for a generation who will never have the opportunity to experience it in real life.
Although there is still a dearth of long skirts for formal occasions, the beautiful corset tops, bodices, and bustiers, inspire one to pretend that those Irem and Granzella items can pass for formal length skirts. And, at long last, developers like Lockwood Figment/Drey are bringing out accessories and hairstyles for adults! The finishing touches from hair to heels are now available.
Ladies know that in real life, the opportunity to dress for an appearance on an Oscar Awards show red carpet is a one in a million shot. But, in Home, we can shine like movie stars any time we want to ‘strut our stuff’ at a Home party, fashion show, or evening at home entertaining friends.

In this video, I tried to illustrate how to combine items that have been lost in storage with new items that have been introduced recently to make an ‘all-over’ look that conveys an image of elegance, sophistication, and poise. This is the first of a series: Elegance – Formal Wear will be followed by Elegance – Business Casual, Elegance – Resort Casual, and Elegance – Future Trends. It’s time to look elegant.
Very nice Granny it came out well. Looking forward to the next ones. Although fashion is always a matter of personal choice, that doesn’t mean you can’t use good taste when deciding how to look in Home. I love mixing and matching pieces and always decide carefully when trying to find the right ones before i buy. Nice video.
Elegant, and very nice combinations Granny! Excellent music for this piece too. Very nice video!
Many nice set ups and shots. I especially liked the hopping out of the helicopter shot, but I am biased.
Pretty good video & music, that’s for sure.
This is a really awesome fashion video. I’m not into the whole Home fashion scene, but this video made me pay attention. I especially like how there were onscreen listings showing where to get everything. From a marketing standpoint, that makes it infinitely more valuable.
