HomeCast For May 2nd, 2012

by HearItWow, HomeCast Executive Producer

What’s in this Episode: Great Edo of Nippon Cyclops Gameplay Tips | Island Bungalow Personal Space Preview | New Juggernaut Minibots Rewards | Lockwood Legendary Racers Outfits | Konami Raver Clothes | House of the Dead 4 Ornament

For you arcade cabinet collectors, there’s a close-up view of the House of the Dead 4 arcade cabinet ornament. You want this if you like cabinets. For everyone else, there’s tons of Great Edo of Nippon tips that will not only help you beat the first level, they’ll help you master it.

This is the first truly in-depth game walkthrough in an episode of HomeCast. I’ve avoided those in the past mainly because most Home games are built around the idea of “play it and learn how it works.” Most of the time, that’s more than enough, but there’s a good amount of depth to be found in Great Edo’s first battle challenge, enough to warrant a closer look at the elements of the game and the strategies that will help players get the most out of it.

The tips I offer certainly aren’t the last word on the Cyclops challenge; there are other weapons available and other ways of dealing with the monsters, but for those who are only a little hardcore about Great Edo, you’ll learn enough here to master the challenge and beat it easily time and time again.

I appreciate being able to watch this here rather than having to go to the theater -- especially when logging in is a 50/50 chance of F-13.
