February 29 HomeCast

What’s in this episode:

Street Fighter x Tekken TGI | Mount Olympus Personal Space Preview | French Chateau Personal Space Preview | Cutteridge Estate Update | Saints Row the Third Clothing | Konami Secret Agent Costume | Lockwood Cupcake Dress | War Room Clubhouse | Complimentary Hotel Room Flood

Is it me or have there been a lot of personal spaces released this year? There are two personal space previews in this epsiode, along with a look at the Street Fighter x Tekken TGI, which had been announced but wasn’t actually live when this episode was produced. Hence, Demon War Horse vs. Cactuar, which is probably why you’re going to be watching this one again.

I never really intended for Demon War Horse to become a big part of HomeCast. It was a one-off joke for the February 1 epsiode. But people like him, and there seem to be an endless number of jokes that can be written about him, so he gets to stick around.

The first of the Digital Leisure “updates” to the Complimentary Hotel Room Personal Space is chronicled here. I’m still surprised at how much fun that was, and that no one ever tried it before Digital Leisure. We’ve had the moldy wallpaper and the break in since then, and these updates show the potential of personal spaces to be more than static locations where we arrange our virtual furniture. Isn’t it time for a space that evolves and changes? Short of including a cool game, that might be the best way to get people excited about personal spaces.
