From The Jet-Set to The Jetsons – Lockwood Introduces Drey, Retronauts

This week from Lockwood:

  • Retronauts beam down to the Fool Throttle clothing range
  • The ShowOff Spookathon voting closes Thursday (5pm GMT), winner announced soon!
  • The Autumn/Winter Collection from Drey

Inspired by New York, London, Paris and Milan runways, Lockwood would like to present Drey – the exclusive high fashion collection only in Playstation®Home. It’s time to celebrate in style – say hello to the new you!

What is Drey?

It’s about living life without limits – a life of social events and being the person who lights up the room when you enter. Drey deals in the fascinating, incredible, shocking and amazing. It’s not just about how you look; it’s about how it makes you feel… a million dollars.

Share the experience with your friends by sending them exclusive versions of the Drey clothing only available from the Gift Machine, coming soon!

Fool Throttle introduces more off the wall fashion with the Retronauts, a bunch of stylish space travellers who wear only the finest vintage space suits. They’re all about accessorising, so even their space helmets and their ray guns are in colours that compliment their outfits. And what’s the point in travelling if you don’t bring back a few souvenirs to show off in your apartment? The Retronauts have lugged some attractive crystal formations back from the far corners of the galaxy – they make great ornaments!

Thanks to everyone who visited the Lockwood Facebook page to vote the winner of ShowOff: Spookathon! This round of ShowOff took place in the Showcase over the Halloween weekend, we asked for creepy costumes and eerie outfits and got a lot more than we bargained for! Thanks to all who took part and submitted an entry, the Dev Team at Lockwood loved looking through them and they are looking forward to announcing the winner chosen by you! Along with some Delirious Squid alternative clothing merchandise, the winner will also receive 1,180 Lockwood Tokens to spend in the Gift Machine. If they are a friend of yours, look forward to some gifts coming your way soon!

I was born in the 1970s, not the 1960s, which means I missed out on a lot of cool stuff, historically speaking – the Space Race, the dawn of the Jet Set, the British Invasion, and so on – instead of the smooth harmonies of the Fab Four, I had Andy Gibb.

That said, when it comes to Haute Couture, Lockwood knew exactly where to go – the source of all things fashionable. Just take a glance at the sneak peeks they have graced their Facbook page with, and tell me you don’t immediately think of the French Riveria, Monaco, and Monte Carlo. All the places that, as the concept of fashion as a whole was taking off globally, one would find everyone who was anyone showing off the hottest trends and styles – Mick and Bianca, Twiggy, and Princess Grace, to name a few.

Where will Drey go? Only the imaginative, industrious minds at Lockwood know!

I just noticed a tagline: ‘clothes available in the Gift Machine’ YES! This is what I have been asking for -- a way to help friends who want to get away from default clothes and freebies.
