Lockwood Gifts Us the Ball Game

Baron von Eggenschtealer tried to sabotage the Gift Machine, chomping on wires and shoving his sticky paws where they shouldn’t be, but Lockwood kicked that crazy cottontail out of the workshop and brought the Gift Machine back even better! Not only are there some handy new features such as wishlists and the friend filter, there’s a whole host of great new stuff to send too! Tasteful ornaments, beautiful bonsai trees and some very elegant footwear are just a few of the new goodies added into the machine’s gifting mechanism. There are even some free gifts in there for a limited time as a little thank you for your patience.

New larger token packs are also available to make sending gifts even easier. The larger token pack you buy, the greater discount you’ll get on your tokens. Once you’ve sent cool new stuff to all your friends, why not check out some baseball action?

Nine players facing off against nine players. The crack of leather on the bat, the intake of breath amongst the crowd as the ball sails through the air and the fielder races to meet it. Will the runner steal the base, or will their luck run out?

The Lockwood Legends are a baseball team at the peak of their career. Incredible batting averages, fantastically loyal supporters and a uniform that turns heads as often as their superb play, makes them a team that’s built to last.

Now you can join in with the atmospheric thrill of the game by picking up the latest range of sportswear from Double Time. Complete baseball uniforms as worn by the Legends themselves! Imagine hitting a home run sporting a natty baseball cap or throwing a strike with the ball and glove.

Passionate about sports? Double Time is the new collection from Lockwood bringing you the latest in athletic apparel. Show your support for the Legends – get suited up today!

According to a pic on Lockwood’s FaceBook page, the gift machine update has…get this…garden gnomes. Gnomes! Too dang cool…

    And pink plastic flamingos?

    • johneboy1970 says:

I didn’t see those on the FaceBook page, Keara, but ‘twould be a shame if not. I can already see my Aurora space filled with plastic flamingos and gnomes…

Lockwood is light years ahead of everyone else once again. This article about baseball and johnboy’s mentioning of gnomes reminds me of a prank some local kids pulled. They stole a bunch of garden gnomes from ppl’s yards then put them onto a baseball field in all the player positions.Illegal and a pain for the gnome owners but a kinda funny combination nonetheless.

      That’s hysterical, Cthulu!

Shhhh, don’t tell anybody…years ago a bunch of co-workers and I borrowed a Gnome from our boss’ lawn. We spent the next year mailing the Gnome to various friends in other cities and states (as well as Canada) where they would take pics of the gnome near local landmarks. Those pics were then mailed to the Gnome owner, with notes about the good time the Gnome was having.

Towards the end of his journey, the Gnome started to send word that he had met someone special. Just before Christmas of that year, the Gnome found his way back to his original spot…along with his new Gnomish wife and a trio of little Gnomelings. Our boss didn’t find out it was us until that Christmas, so we spent a year listening to her laugh as she told us about the gnome and his travels.

      Gotta love da Gnomes!

Hmmm, I tried the gift machine and it didn’t work. It allows me to look at the gifts but when I clicked on one to send it to someone it booted me out and then said it was unavailable. Anyone else having this problem?

  5. Baseball stuff = home run!!!

I expect you to suit up, Kid, and head to the dugout.
