Irem Last-Minute Shopping

There’s a chance you’re like me; you’ve been to the Irem spaces and for whatever reason you’ve never gotten around to purchasing any of the clothes for sale there, but now that you’ve heard that we’re losing these clothes, you are now interested.
They’ve a lot of items to offer, and choosing which ones are best for you can be a tough choice. I, like many of us, want them all, but I’m working on a budget here. I mean, it’s not like many of us are going to simply buy everything, right? So, how does one go about selecting which items from their large assortment are best for them, all while spending the least?
Categorize
When you first look at their list, it will seem intimidating, but it’s actually broken down to only a few different themes, which are Spelunker, Cowboy/Cowgirl, Swimsuit, School, Yukata, and Miscellaneous. Almost all of the items in these categories are very specific, so you’ll probably not be wearing them all the time. What I mean is they are not your typical, wear-everyday outfits, so you really only need one set from any particular category. Making this choice alone will cut your costs dramatically.
Swimsuit
You want a swimsuit. In fact, if you decide to buy only one set of clothes from Irem before they’re gone, make it a swimsuit. They are cute, fun, and the most practical of their clothing options, as they look fantastic when in areas that offer a tropical setting. Unfortunately, it can also be the toughest choice for females, as there are lots of options.
Once again, categorize. There are two options, a one-piece or a bikini. I’m a one-piece kind of girl, but that’s just me. Choosing to go with a bikini can be very practical, as the top and bottom are considered two separate pieces – which opens up a world of very cute ensemble options. There’s also a nice bikini-under-clothes set for us that want to keep some modesty while still looking fun. Once you’ve chosen your type, it’s now only a matter of choosing your pattern. Take a look at the 3-D showing, and consider how it compliments your skin and hair color. When in doubt, just pick the one that seems most fun.
Spelunker
I’m not a fan. Maybe if I knew the game I would be, but these just don’t seem that fun or practical to me. If you are interested in one of these, the good news is there’s very little (if anything) different from them all besides the color. Just pick your favorite color, and you’re done!
Featured Irem pieces: tops and bottoms on both models, and red western boots
School
This is a collection of school uniforms, from the basic-student, the traditional sailor-type, and the punk-like rebel, all in different color combinations. The question you need to ask is this – do I want to look practical, fun, or naughty. By making this choice, you’ve cut your selection down to just a few, and now it’s about personal taste.

Cowboy/Cowgirl
Yee-haw! Like the Spelunker outfits, there’s very little difference in these sets other than its color, but there is a skirt option for the ladies, which can mix and match rather well. So, pick your color and then whether to wear a skirt or not, and all that’s left is to find that man that shot your Pa.
Yukata
These are sooooo gorgeous! My only problem is once the festival area is gone, I have no idea where I would wear one. Now, there is a chance that we might also get a new area that this would look great in, but I don’t know if it’s been confirmed. Regardless, there’s really nothing else like these in Home that I’ve seen, and being they trully are works of art, I still highly recommend picking one up. Unfortunately, I have no advice for these other than for you to simply pick the one you feel best describes you.
Miscellaneous
The only one that’s in this category is the Irem’s Black Brigade outfit. This is your “silly” option. Now, before you dismiss this, consider that being Irem is gone and with it the Black Brigade, nothing like this will ever be made again. That makes this a collector’s item.
Of the personal space items for sale, there’s really only two I can recommend unless you’re a big fan of their games.
Fishtank
A fishtank will compliment ANY personal space setting, and therefore is the most practical of all the pieces available in the Irem store. While the largest tank is the best looking, it is the most expensive, so you might want to consider a medium tank. That will save you money, and the medium tank can still hold all four of the fishies you’ve scored from the fish-scoop game.
Crystal Skull
It’s a blue, transparent, crystal, human skull. I’m sorry, I don’t know what else needs to be said to describe how cool this thing looks.

Great article for someone without an idea on what to wear underwater…I for one will continue to wear Kimono.They did a awesome job on the detail of those pieces. A testament to the attention to detail Irem is so well known for. Maybe the new Casino has a Sake Bar…Wait, let’s drink sake from a blue crystal skull.I hope that bar accepts Sodium credits..I can’t seem to use these republic credits anywhere…

i wait the ultimate moment to buy somes clothes, peraphs irem offer us a big monster liquidation of ther stock???? (yeah, i know i dream!^^)
I’ve already bought everything that is on my Irem shopping wishlist. Which means that liquidation sale will probably happen soon (story of my life…).
Those yakuta bottoms work well as long skirts for use with tops to create formals. I only wish they would have brought the wedding dresses before they left. Nice article Kat.
