HomeStation Presents: The Upload, Episode #6
It’s well known that everyone at HomeStation Magazine are huge fans of the HomeCast, produced by HearItWow. It has a well-deserved spot in Home’s Community Theater, as it really is a phenomenal resource to find out about the latest and greatest in Home.
HearItWow, himself, is also quite a person of note. He’s very active on the Sony forum, and is often the balanced voice of reason amidst the strong opinions, vituperation, exclamation marks and generally enjoyable insanity that makes it such a fun place to be.
It is thus, with great pleasure, that we announce we had the opportunity to interview HearItWow on this episode of The Upload.
I’ll repeat that for the hearing-impaired:

Being an HCV sounds a lot like being a Homeling. Repetitive question answering, enduring abuse and belittling… hmm… suppose being a Homeling could be good training for an HCV and vice versa.
Wait… there ARE some Homelings in the HCV program! Ha ha! Do you know who they are?
Gotta love the “I’m bored in Home” people on Home. It’s the equivalent of a child who has all the coolest toys, gaming systems, computer, hand-held devices, best cable package, lots of friends to play with, a nice sunny day, etc, that keeps saying he has nothing to do. And that’s the problem sometime. Spoiled rotten and unable to entertain themselves even with EVERYTHING at their disposal.
Grimm came and spent some time with a small group of Homelings at “the Rock” just a short time ago out of the blue. Great guy… for a hoom (just kidding)
Was almost hooked on Salt Shooter in the beginning, but then something shiny demanded attention.

The Novus reps are awesome. Tardi-Nos showed up late (as usual) but was amazed at how long those guys stuck around and just generally “visited” with us. Too cool. Special thanks to Phatso64 for facilitating that particular happening.
Trophy Room? Gah to that. Would rather have virtual items to show off than a personal space designated for static, generic, BORING trophies. That said, am not a trophy hunter
Developers are going to charge as much as the consumer is willing to pay… one would think.

I would just like to say that I have personal intimate knowledge of Geo and he is the most upstanding man on the face of the planet. If there’s any sucking going on, it’s in this podcast:

I can personally attest that HearItWow is very good at interviewing people. Great podcast, HSM! Also, big thanks to Phatso64 and all the HCV’s, Homelings, and Stormtroopers that showed to Novus Prime to help us kick off our re-launch. Oh, big thanks to the Predators, as well- even though they were pretty solitary.
