Just A Really Cool Video

In honor of Cubehouse making it into the Community Theatres in both SCEA Home and SCEE Home, I wanted to introduce you to one of the most imaginative Home videos I’ve ever seen, created by Cubes.

Keep in mind, when you watch this video, that it’s digital stop-motion filmmaking. No capture card. No Hauppauge. Just a lot of painstaking and time-consuming work.

Personally, this reminds me a lot of Peter Gabriel’s Sledgehammer video. Take a peek and I think you’ll see why. Truly amazing work.

(Before anyone asks: no, Cubes didn’t put me up to this. He’s not that sort of guy. He had no idea I was going to re-post his video. I just think it’s really bleeping brilliant, and deserves to be seen by as many Home citizens as possible. Cheers.)

Wow! I agree Norse that was very cool. That took a lot of patience and time. Great job Cube!! Once again you prove how brilliant you are!

  2. Cubehouse says:

Lol, didn’t expect you to post this on the website…

Regardless, hope it proves you don’t need lots of people, expensive hardware and complicated editing suites to make creative videos in PlayStation Home (although they help).

This was all done with hundreds of in-Home photos and VirtualDub (free video manipulation software).
