HomeStation Presents: The Upload, Episode #4

Oh yeah, it’s time!

It’s well-reasoned. It’s intellectual. It’s uproarious. It’s Home’s equivalent of Firing Line. It’s the podcast that makes you think.

It’s The Upload, and it’s back — ready to reach once more into your gray matter and tickle it with a feather.

Except that this time…we invited DarthGranny.

Dear lord, what were we thinking.

Once, long ago, in a reality far, far away…

DarthGranny was a retired college professor and consultant to several different governments. Her writings could be purchased off Amazon. She wore shoulder pads the size of your car.

Then she discovered Home, and fell to the dark side.

Only now is her evil plan taking shape: she is secretly using all her resources to convince Sony to develop a My Little Pony Sith Academy. And there, she will train a legion of technicolor terrors.

And if that wasn’t enough to convince you to listen to this episode of The Upload, you’ve gotta hear Mike and Norse try their hand at being rap stars.

Yes, you read that correctly. Jersquall and Cubes are still in shock. We’re convinced it’s a Mind Trick of some sort. Move along. Move along.

Excellent listen guys!! Loved it! So glad you used Granny finally, she is always such a hoot! Thanks for expanding on my article about the glitching debate. I hope that it gets people thinking. Great job and we need to continue to bring out this quality material to the masses in Home!

Glitching. It’s like the equivalent of climbing a mountain.
A glitching space would be cool, but the rewards should be developed as the glitches are exploited. After all, it is a puzzle, finding and exploiting glitches, so to created the rewards ahead of time for prefabricated glitches would make no sense, since glitches are not created by the developer as a challenge to Glitchers… or are they? dun dun dunnnnn….
Never understood the appeal of role play. And TOTALLY AGREED, CUBES! — Trust. That is the line. Love it when users come up to Homelings and say to us, “ur not rely alians u no!!1″ … who are we to argue? :P
You guys should post links to the stuffs you mention in the show :)

One reason that males use female avatars, out of many reasons,is that they want to bait other males into a verbal version of a swordfight. They know how males will act around a scantily clad female and use that as a draw for a verbal fight. They know that if a male avatar makes another male avatar look foolish then it will usually be a short arguement but if a female makes a male look foolish the male, usually, will stick around much longer. There are different reasons for this but the result usually provides the male in female avatar with countless hours of”entertainment”.Great podcast btw.
