A Night with the Tester 2 Finalists

The night began with excitement as Stryctnin and I prepared to meet the last Tester 2 finalists. We joined three Home Guides in the Movie Theater in anticipation to jump as soon as we were given word.
Twenty minutes later, while waiting in the lobby, I froze.
Feeling battered and torn I restarted my PS3 and headed back into Home. The waiting game began again. Finally, a Home Guide jumped and I followed immediately. Lobby full.
Little did I know this would become a common theme for the evening. After trying two more times and getting the Lobby Full message: Network Error.
Some choice words began circulating in my brain. Not wanting to be defeated I jumped back into Home and tried a different approach.
After loading into Home, I joined the first Theater 6 that loaded, and waited. Meanwhile, Stryctnin stayed with the Guides. There were over 50 people in this theater all waiting on Playstation’s celebrities to arrive. While mingling with them and sharing in their anticipation I received an invite. Before I even had a chance to say goodbye, I jumped.

There were several questions being thrown out in the chat log and with three people answering, the task of recording the answers proved more than challenging. Below are some questions and answers that we had an opportunity to collect.
One of the first questions of the night seemed to ruffle some feathers. Initially this question was ignored and asked again two more times.
Q: Why did you guys go against your own rules and drop Fazeek? That was wrong.
A: Gaymer- There is more not shown, he was a problem. Look at the behind the scenes commentary. www.youtube.com/mmbrown71L (Special Note: If you check out the video for Season 6 and jump to 9:00 you will hear what happened right before Fazeek was eliminated.)
The general audience seemed to be very ecstactic to see Gaymer. One yelled, “Mr. Sandiego.” Gaymer responded, “That’s Mr. San Diego 2010!”
Questions about Gaming
Q: What is the first game you played?
A: Scooter- The 1st game I was addicted to was Spiderman on Atari.
Gaymer- My 1st game was Mario World on the Super Nintendo.
Q: What is your favorite game?
A: Gaymer- MGS4
Q: Which game got you interested in gaming?
A: Cheska- Final Fantasy 8 sucked me into gaming, RPG’s in general.
Q: If you could be a PS3 video game character, which one would you be?
A: Gaymer- Nathan Drake.
Scooter- Crash Bandicoot.
Cheska- Bayonetta, although she is not exclusive to the PS3.
Q: Can we play Killzone sometime?
A: Scooter- I love Killzone. Of course we can play.
Q: Cheska, how many platinums do you have?
A: Cheska- 8, will have 9 tonight
Q: Have you played the DC Universe Online Beta?
A: Gaymer- Scooter and I are obsessed with DCUO.
Q: Are you having problems with it freezing?
A: Gaymer- yeah, they are fixing that soon.
Q: What is your favorite game using the Move?
A: Gaymer- I beat RE5 with the Move.
Cheska- I like playing archery with the Move.
Q: What games in 2011 are you looking forward to playing?
A: Gaymer- 2011 is the year of the PS3, so many exclusives. UC3 is at the top of my list.
Cheska- I’m really looking forward to UC3, Portal 2, Arkham City, Mass Effect3, Last Guardian.
Q: What do you think of Assasins Creed: Brotherhood?
A: Cheska- I love AC:B , <3 Ezio
General Questions
Q: What is your favorite snack?
A: Gaymer- Ice cream.
Scooter- frozen grapes.
Cheska- peanut butter.
Q: What is your favorite thing about Home?
A: Gaymer- can meet up with fans and gamers.
Q: What is your favorite space in Home?
A: Gaymer- wherever my friends are.
Q: What is your favorite cookie?
A: Cheska- Raspberry Milanos. I had them in the house as well.
Tester Questions
Q: How was the food in the House?
A: Gaymer- the food in the loft was delicious.
Cheska- they catered us food everyday.
Q: What was it like to meet Cyrus and Nauseus from Tester 1?
A: Gaymer- really nice, and fun to meet someone who know our spots.
Scooter- they were great people.
Q: Did you use your PSN names on the Tester or were you able to make your own names?
A: Gaymer- It was up to us to choose are names so some of us changed them
Q: Does Mo Chocolate really talk in his sleep?
A: Mo talks in his sleep, makes fish faces, alien noises and other funny things.
Q: Cheska, do you and WarPrincess talk often?
A: Cheska- WarPrincess and I talk often.
Q: Why did you attack Mo?
A: Cheska- more things happened behind the scenes with Mo; we didn’t just gang up on him for no reason.
