Group managers may remove Polar Cloud members from group membership. On the “MEMBERS” screen, managers will see and may click the red “REMOVE” button (towards the upper right); see Figure 7.17. This will bring up a “REMOVE MEMBERS” screen; see Figure 7.30.
Note that the group owner cannot be removed from the group in this way: the checkbox on the “REMOVE MEMBERS” screen will be greyed-out and inactive for the group owner (dnewman in Figure 7.30). Click the checkboxes for any current (but non-owner) group members you wish to remove, and then click the “REMOVE” button (towards the lower right).
When you “REMOVE” a manager of the group (for instance, K I H in Figure 7.30), that manager is demoted to being a non-manager member of the group but not removed entirely from the group. To remove the former manager from the group entirely, perform “REMOVE” a second time.
