According to our buddies at Variety, Frank Darabont has his eyes set on Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead's Shane) for his brand new TNT drama pilot, L.A. Noir. The report heavily emphasizes that talks have only just begun and nothing is set in stone yet.
We can't help but wonder though, what if the most infamous man on the AMC zombie show is actually considering other options? Does this mean Shane will suffer the fate his comic counter-part had in the panels or will he finally just leave the group once and for all (see below for a delicious and almost decade-old spoiler)? Our money is on the first option, but we'll have to wait and see how it plays out when The Walking Dead returns for the final 6 episodes of Season 2 on 2/12.
