No, the Dukes of Hazzard aren't actually coming to Smallville. Except for that one time the show guest starred Tom Wopat and he and Pa Kent drove off down the road in one of the more obnoxious fan winks.
But we'll do you one better! Despite having bought the farm five seasons ago (the death expression, not the Kent Farm), Pa Kent himself will be returning to Clark Kent's life in season ten!
No word yet on how exactly Jonathan will come back into the fold, what with that fatal heart attack he had in exchange for Clark saving Lana's life, but we do know he'll be around for the season premiere "Lazarus" and at least one episode after.
So what do you think? Flashback? LOST-style ghost? Dukes of Hazzard convention? Those familiar with their bibles and DC Comics (pretty much the same thing) will know that "Lazarus" tends have something to do with resurrection, but we'll have to wait until the premiere to find out!
