Following the life of Clark Kent before he donned a cape and called himself Superman, Smallville focuses on the small-town teen as he begins to realize his superheroic potential. During his journey from youth to adult, Clark makes friends and enemies out of familiar superheroes and villains, including Lex Luthor, Braniac, and Green Arrow -- all while avoiding kryptonite and cancellation.
