Dean Pelton’s sexuality seems vague at best and it’s only compounded by his strange infatuation with Jeff Winger. Floating somewhere between hero worship and Single White Female, you’re never quite sure if the Dean wants to be Jeff’s friend or lover/murderer. One thing is for sure, Jeff has no interest in spending any time with Pelton.
So what does the Dean do after he blackmails Jeff into spending the afternoon with him? He forces Jeff to sing a duet at the mall’s make your own music video shop of course! What starts off as an uninspired karaoke version of Seal’s “Kiss From a Rose” quickly turns into a passionate medley that ties together the adventures of the entire study group. The end result is Pierce doing paint angels and a hitchhiking hobo singing about how “Jesus loves marijuana and drinking human blood.”
