It shouldn't come as a surprise, but this Airbender fan (the TV show, not the movie, if I even had to clarify) can't help but jump at any and all spin-off info.

After a panel of esteemed TV and film composers, I was able to shoot Airbender's composer Jeremy Zuckerman questions about The Legend of Korra, and if he would return to score the show. Thankfully, his response was quick: absolutely.

Sounds like as long as Nickelodeon gets all their contracts in order (um, Nick, hurry up), we'll be hearing more of Zuckerman and his Track Team partner Benjamin Wynn's eclectic musical stylings backing up a whole new group of characters. The duo hasn't started work yet, so we're not sure what new sounds and ideas he'll be playing with, but having been known to endlessly loop the original show's music over and over, I'll wait to hear whatever he delivers.

During the panel, Zuckerman also mentioned that when they first did the pilot, he was helping to produce both the music and the sound design, and most of the "bending" effects are actually just Zuckerman making noises into a microphone. So next time you're pretending to water bend in a pool, the "whoosh" sound you're making is pretty close to the show's effects. Cool!

Make sure to keep checking in, as we're hunting down all the info on The Legend of Korra, because that's just what rabid fans do.

Update: Check our exlcusive interview with Jeremy Zuckerman and Benjamin Wynn on The Legend of Korra.

Now, back to riding on my ball of air.
