A Naval aviator shot down behind enemy lines in Bosnia must escape with his life to expose a Serbian general's ethnic cleansing program.
The war in the former Yugoslavia is one of the most bitter conflicts of the modern era, with feuding ethnic and sociopolitical groups struggling for a bomb-wasted stretch of grim, gray land. It's an awesome backdrop for this non-stop action flick, which pulls no punches in its portrayal of the myriad atrocities perpetrated by the Serbs. Owen Wilson shines in a rare serious role as the heroic Lt. Chris Burnett, doing whatever it takes to get a hard drive containing photographs of the massacre scene to his superiors, even at the possible cost of his own life.
