Naval Flight Officer Lieutenant Chris Burnett is shot down behind enemy lines when he pilots his F/A-18F Super Hornet in investigation of what ends up being a secret genocidal campaign against the Bosniak people by General Miroslav Lokar. Burnett manages to avoid the Serbs while behind enemy lines, all the while staying in contact with Admiral Leslie Reigart in regards to his ever-changing extraction point and being stalked by a Serbian marksman named Sasha that's been dispatched to do away with the American annoyance.
