The Pepsi to The Twilight Zone's Coke, The Outer Limits went a little easier on the pop-Freudian psychology and lot heavier on the dopey sci-fi.  To wit: Season 2's episode "Cold Hands, Warm Heart" in which William Shatner is an astronaut involved in a mysterious project called (ahem) Vulcan.

I can just imagine what the other takes of this looked like, when the Shat darted out of bed and stuck his mug in the camera, but just a little off center.  This take nails it, though, and is a fine example of ShActing, perfect for Shatnerpalooza Day 4.

What is Shatnerpalooza, you ask?  It is a time where we step back and honor the sweetest thing to drip down from Canada since maple syrup.

The good people at Epix are counting down to their debut of The Captains, a documentary about the different men and women who've sat in the center seat for the various incarnations of Star Trek.  It is directed by the ur-Captain himself, William Shatner.
